Why I Should Root My Android?

What is “rooting”?
This word is the most popular word for android’s user. Many peoples said, rooting is the first thing that you should do in your android device –and they right-. Rooting means you’re “superuser” who can do anything, or costomize anything of your system.
"... become an Android Superuser..."

These are some advantage for root user on android.

Backup Your Apps & Data
Backup tool such as titanium backup is the must installed Android application for rooted phone. It helps to backup your apps and data. You don’t want your progress on Angry Bird lost right?

Advertisements are Gone
Android has lot of free version. In Apple Apps Store you should pay for Angry Bird, but in Android Market those angry bird are free, but yeah it has some ads on it. You can turn it into a full version game without advertisement with ads blocker apps. AdFree removes most ads in the browser and other applications by nullifying requests to known host names in the system hosts file. Yeah… Advertisements are gone!

Improve user experience with custom modification
This is one of some best things on Android: ability to use improved modified built in Android application. For example, a mod SGS2 camera that enable feature like hold volume key to focus and release to shoot. You need root access to replace the existing camera application. Or disable full battery charged notification by changing the system configuration.

Speed up CPU and improve battery life
Set CPU  is a tool for changing the CPU settings. You can use it to improve performance or save battery. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII, device with 1,2 GHz processor and I can overclock it to 1,6GHz. Wow! And of course I can underclock it to 1GHz to save my battery too.

Block Internet access with firewall
Restrict certain Android application from accessing Internet. Improve battery life too with lesser Android application accessing data connection. Some apps like DroidWall is the Android firewall application that you need. With root of course.

That’s all? Of course not. More things will you get with root! So, don’t be worry to root your Android device!
