Android Ice Cream Sandwich: 6 Top Features

Tech world are warmly welcoming Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of Android (version 4.0), or simply called Android ICS and it introduces a bunch of new features never seen before.

Now, let's talk about six feature of this new Android version.

Why six?
I dunno, but Ice Cream Sandwich just have lot of new feature. Apart from the features I have mentioned here, Ice Cream Sandwich has a bunch of new features which deeply integrate into your smartphone and tablet experience. These are the ones we think are really special.
Check these out!

Brand New Font
One of the first things you will notice while using Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is Roboto! This new font (they said) much more appealing than Droid Sans, the previous versions. Roboto is specially designed for high resolution screens and brings a magazine-like feel to the whole interface. Looks modern and clear!

Face Unlock
This is really a "Star Trek" feature. Now your phone literally know you, and can unlock itself by seeing your face by front facing camera! Whoa... welcome to the future!
"... now our phone really know us..."

Talk-To-Text
Voice input seems much smarter this time around.  Android 4.0 will not take very long to transcribe your words. Just speak it in and it instantly transforms it into text (question mark, or even a smiley) while you speak.

Data Usage Controller
Maybe this is my fave feature. Now we have ability to see which apps are the biggest data hogs our internet quota. We also can limit data usage to a certain threshold. Maybe cellular operator not so happy with this.

Camera
There’s a lot to love here. It features image stabilization, improved autofocus, and integration with other apps for sending photos or instant upload to Google+. Oh, and who could forget built-in face detection, panorama and time lapse modes, and on-the-fly photo retouching and enhancements. Ouch!

Retouch Contact: People App
A new spin on the contact list. The phone’s owner has their own profile, and people’s contact details are sourced from Google+, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Users can define favorite contacts, and individual people can be placed on the homescreen or in folders for quick access. Contact never so fun before.
